Bulgur salad or Kisir in Turkish, is the favorite food of all Turkish people, but especially women. It’s like a must to make this salad when you invite your female friends. You can cook kizir salad as a meal, side dish or snack. It makes a great picnic food too!
Ingredients: Bulgur
Pepper paste
Tomatoes
Cucumber
Green onions
Parsley
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Dried and fresh mint
Salt and cumin. Mix bulgur with salt cumin and dried mint, add hot water (just enough to cover the bulgur), wait for 15 minutes until bulgur absorbs it. Dice the vegetables and chop fresh mint and parsley. Add paper paste to the bulgur, mix it well. Add vegetables, greens, olive oil and lemon to the taste.
