DESCRIPTION:This week we will explore what one needs to survive in the wild. We will learn how to – build shelter – filter water – learn to identify edible and poisonous plants – read animal tracks – build a fire with no matches or lighter – cook meals on the fire (subject to fire ban). We will also learn basics of orientation\, map reading and how to use a compass. The culmination of this camp will be a hike to the local park (subject to instructor approval). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEarly drop off and extra care available upon request.
