Children need structure and also the opportunities to use Russian language outside the family. That is why they take Russian lessons in our school.  \nOur experienced and talented teachers nurture children’s creativity and interest in Russian Language by finding great reading materials appropriate for the children’s age and skills (which is often very hard to do)\, organizing competitions\, theatrical plays\, discussing books and movies. The teacher will inspire students to practice and improve reading and writing skills\, to learn grammar appropriate for this age level\, to stimulate creativity in using the language. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our traditional Ukrainian Easter egg (Pysanka) workshop. Ukrainian -born artist Lota leads a hands-on workshop in the traditional Ukrainian folk art of egg decoration. \n\n\n\nPatterns are drawn on an egg with hot beeswax\, when the wax is removed\, a multi-colored pattern is revealed. The finished product\, with its intricate designs and symbols\, belies the meditative process involved. The patience and concentration required to complete a single egg is rewarded when the wax is taken off. Participants will leave with a beautiful colored egg. Ages 14 and up\, no experience necessary. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:  \nSpring time is a perfect time to dive into nature and master noticing things on a small scale — a tiny insect or new leaf buds\, bright blue sky against the green grass — how exciting it is to see that! \nChildren ages 30 mos–5 years old are exploring and playing outdoors. Teachers emphasize emotional coaching and play-based education. With a healthy blend of structured activities and play-based education our students have enough time for interacting with our farm animals\,  free play\, art\, lunch time\, and opening\, and closing circles!\nThere is also the added benefit of bilingual communication – we have native Russian and English-speakers among our staff\,  that’s how language lessons are weaving into the day.\nWe kindly ask you to book a tour (email ksenia@partyandcook.com or cal 4259745076) before making a decision about enrollment.\nWe are meeting Tu-Th\, 10 am- 1 pm\n1 day/week – $250/month\n2 days/week – $380/month\n3 days/week – $500/month

DESCRIPTION:Story time Theater provides a safe\, supportive environment for children to experience books in a literary\, artistic and tactile atmosphere in the classroom.  The program starts with engaging reading of a tales after which kids do craft inspired by stories and acts out the story.  Basic acting and vocal exercises are used in preparation for exploration and performance. To inspire chidren’s imagination we also include art projects into the program.
