SUMMARY:Outdoor Survival Camp (5-10)
DESCRIPTION:This week we will explore what one needs to survive in the wild. We will learn how to – build shelter – filter water – learn to identify edible and poisonous plants – read animal tracks – build a fire with no matches or lighter – cook meals on the fire (subject to fire ban). We will also learn basics of orientation\, map reading and how to use a compass. The culmination of this camp will be a hike to the local park (subject to instructor approval). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEarly drop off and extra care available upon request. We provide sibling discount and special discount for families enrolled to our programs.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our enchanting Fairy Tale Toddler Outdoor Camp in Issaquah\, Cougar Mountain. Our camp is designed to spark the imagination and creativity of children aged 30 months to 5 years old through a series of magical outdoor adventures.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur outdoor space has been transformed into a fairy tale wonderland\, complete with colorful decorations\, fairy houses\, and magical creatures hidden among the trees. \nEach day\, our young campers will embark on a new adventure inspired by classic fairy tales. They will get to dress up as their favorite characters\, whether it’s a brave knight\, a beautiful princess\, or a mischievous fairy. Our dedicated camp counselors will guide them through a series of fun and educational activities that promote social\, emotional\, and physical development. \nMonday  – Treasure hunt! Dwarfs will be searching for hidden gems and magical artifacts and then coming back to say hi to Snow White.\nTuesday  –  Building day! We will help Three Little Pigs to escape\nWednesday – Gardening with Jack the Beanstalk. Campers will take home plants in the pots.\nThursday  – Fairies and Magic Artifacts.  Our Magic Forest provides lots of opportunities for crafting magic wands and making potions\nFriday – Princesses and Dragons -we will do obstacle courses and wrap up the day with the Royal Tea Party \nIn addition to our themed activities\, our campers will have plenty of time to explore and play in our outdoor space. They can build fairy houses\, create nature-inspired art\, and even go on a magical scavenger hunt to find hidden treasures. She’ll be sharing her knowledge on the female body and its changes as it goes through certain seasons of life. This workshop will be dedicated to postpartum recovery and safe exercising after any type of delivery.  \nTopics that will be covered include:  \n\nBasic core anatomy\nBreath pattern test\nBody asymmetries and their effect on pelvic floor\nDiastasis recti and back pains\n\nYou’ll also get to practice: \n\nBreathwork for everyday use\n10 min movement flow to heal you core\n\n  \nAfter the workshop you will for sure know: \n\nWhat body patterns cause you low back pain at the end of the day\nWhy Kegels are not a solution in recovering your pelvic floor\nWhat exercises to include into your daily movement in order to start your self healing process\n\nPregnant ladies and babies on lap are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Young Chefs are welcome to join Around the World Cooking Camp \, designed especially for kids aged 8 to 12!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach day of the week brings a new destination and a new culinary adventure.\nOn Monday\, we’ll whisk ourselves away to Japan\, where campers will learn the art of making sushi rolls and crafting adorable bento boxes filled with tasty treats. \nTuesday transports us to warm Turkey\, where we’ll savor the  Mediterranean flavors of falafel\, pilaf and delicious baklava. As we chop\, mix\, and fry\, campers will discover the rich cultural heritage behind each dish. \nWednesday sees us journeying to Sweden\, where we’ll  cook famous Swedish meat balls with mashed potatoes and cranberry souse and indulge in the spice and  sweet gingerbread cookies \nItaly takes the spotlight on Thursday as we will cook pasta from scratch\, accompanied by the decadent delight of tiramisu for dessert. \nFinally\, on Friday\, we’ll head to Colombia to whip up delicious arepas\, savory cornmeal cakes filled with a variety of fillings\, followed by a sweet finale with caramel cake. \nBut our cooking adventures aren’t limited to the kitchen! Throughout the week\, campers will engage in games and activities inspired by the cultures of each country\, adding an extra layer of fun and learning to our culinary experience. \nJoin us for a week of flavor\, fun\, and cultural exploration at our Cooking Camp Around the World – where every dish tells a story and every bite is an adventure!
