DESCRIPTION:Your child will truly learn what it means to be a REAL scientist. We will explore the scientific method to explore different concepts like: friction\, force and motion\, flight\, dissolving liquids\, erosion\, and more. Each day\, we will learn a Science concept and do an experiment using Reading and Math. Your child will LOOK and FEEL like a scientist! We will also complete art projects and play interactive games to test what we learned. Oh\, and the most important part\, it will be in the dark! Some of our experiments will be in the blacklight.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYour child will learn new Science concepts from an experienced\, award-winning teacher.  Jeromie Heath has created and will lead this camp.  He has 19 years experience in education and is National Board Certified (meaning\, he’s in the top 10% of teachers in the nation). We focus on ensuring small student-to-teacher ratios both for safety and for greater learning. SUMMARY:Jewelry Making Family Workshops
DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that starting this July we will be hosting jewelry-making workshops for children and adults at our Bellevue studio! \n\n\n\n The workshops are designed for all ages 7yo and up making it an amazing opportunity for families to spent quality time together. Workshops are led by amazing artist and jeweler YanaYa. YanaYa has a long-term experience in jewelry-making as well as hosting themed workshops to children and adults. July workshop plan: Week 1 : making rings using wire and glass beadsWeek 2 : gemstones wrapping with wire to create pendantsWeek 3: making flower earrings using pendants\, wire and glass pearlsWeek 4: making heart-shaped earrings or pendants using wire with some dangling beads  \n\n\n\nAll four lessons cover different aspects of working with wire and beads. During these classes you will learn all about materials and tools needed for jewelry making. Yana will walk you through specifics of working with wire and beads using different techniques. After this set of workshops you will be able to create different types of jewelry all by yourself. Time: 5pm\, Wednesdays\, class duration 1\,5 hours Price: $200 a person/4 workshops; $350 two members of the same family/4 workshops All materials are provided. All you need to bring with you is your inspiration and intention to learn something new.
