SUMMARY:Rising Speakers 5-week course for kids 7 -10 yo
DESCRIPTION:Does your child love the excitement of a debate? During this 5-week course\, students will learn about different aspects of a debate\, including writing opening and closing speeches\, cross-examining their opponent’s arguments\, and active listening amongst other techniques for forming and delivering persuasive arguments. Students will practice using changes in pitch and volume as well as pauses and facial expressions to evoke emotions in their audiences. Students will receive personalized feedback from the instructor and interact with their peers in numerous games\, activities\, and debates. This course is designed for students ages 7-10 and will help them in becoming confident public speakers. Join us on Friday at 4:00 PM\, excluding holiday break.

DESCRIPTION:Learning about history and geography while cooking and tasting related foods is a wonderful and beneficial experience for your kids. Every class is devoted to a new country. Kids explore traditions\, modern life\, and music of the country. As a team\, we cook and taste international flavors from around the world. As these classes are not limited to cooking\, our students also get the chance to learn and enjoy playing games and crafting projects inspired by the studied cultures. These classes can be taken by picky eaters and non-eaters as well.  We are also ready to deal with food allergies and food restrictions.
