Gluten Free Baking Class

Gluten-free doesn’t mean sacrificing the flavor—in fact, classic recipes can be re-imagined to achieve delicious and impressive results. Naturally gluten free breads nearly all have more depth of flavor than standard wheat loaves. Finally, a gluten free baked goods has the potential to be considerably more nutritious than the other sort. During the class we will explore different types of naturally gluten free flours and binders you have never heard of.
We will discuss gluten and how making gluten free baked goods influences the process. During the course you will learn to maintain gluten free sourdough starter, make basic gluten free breads and other baked goods (crepes, waffles and others). You will also be provided with step-by step instructions how to bake gluten free bread and take home a loaf of bread, a recipe and a gluten free sourdough starter.
Vegan and nut free alternatives are available for all the recipes.
