November 14, 2020 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Also referred to as galettes in Brittany, France, buckwheat crêpes have gained in popularity because they’re a tasty, gluten-free alternative to a traditional crêpe.
In the space of 3 hours, our guests will learn how to make batter and how to successfully cook and fold galettes. This workshop is ideal for those who have always dreamed of being able to cook rustic French recipes in their own kitchen.
The Chef Instructor will teach you step-by-step techniques, guiding you as you learn to master this tricky skill.
Moreover, each participant will take home a jar of self made batter to cook at home next morning.
A common galette filling in France is cheese and ham,
however the filling options are endless!
On the class you will cook and taste 4 delicious crepes filling:
– ham & cheese
– creamy mushrooms
– smoked salmon
This workshop, which is very much about sharing, will conclude with a gourmet tasting.
